Article Last Updated: Nov 18, 2024Next
This is a guide to replacing the air filter and accessing the battery on a 2023 Honda CRF300L. It is based on the author’s observations and experience removing and reinstalling the air filter, and on accessing the battery on a 2023 Honda CRF300L; it is also based on information contained in the 2023 CRF300L Owner's Manual and the official Honda CRF300L Service Manual, 2021 (part no. 61K1T01) which covers model years 2021 - 2022 and models CRF300L/LA/LR/LRA. The author is not aware of any relevant mechanical changes to the CRF300L models for the model years 2023-2024, so this guide should apply to those as well. Check with a Honda dealer if in doubt or get the latest version of the service manual.
Read all of the instructions before beginning. It may be helpful to take photos prior to removing or repositioning parts to aid you later.
Use the correct tools for the job, and take your time.
