Creighton Valley Road, Echo Lake

A country road that begins just east of Lumby and passes through Echo Lake Provincial Park and past farms. Paved on both ends with the middle 20 km smooth hard-packed gravel. Very scenic.

A pleasant ride from Enderby to Mabel Lake along a relatively quiet, paved back road running past rural properties, forest, farmland and the Shuswap River.

Enderby To Revelstoke

Enderby, Grindrod, Mara Lake, Sicamous via Hwy 97A, then Hwy 1 to Revelstoke. Some especially nice riding along Mara Lake and through Three Valley Gap. About 111 km. A note about Vernon to Enderby and area back roads.

Revelstoke to Fauquier, Hwy 23, Hwy 6

Scenic ride along secondary highways. Two free ferry crossings (Arrow Lakes) and multiple provincial parks. About 159 km.

A scenic ride with light traffic. The route travels along Lake Revelstoke and the Columbia River ending at the Mica Dam. About 308 km round-trip.

Lumby-Mabel Lake Road

A pleasant ride through the countryside past farms, stretches of river, forest and ending at Mabel Lake Provincial Park. The route follows Lumby-Mabel Lake Road and then Mabel Lake FSR. Shuswap Falls and Shuswap River are along the way. Distance is about 37 km each way. Shuswap River Drive option.

Silver Hills

The route is a combination of gravel roads and forest service roads. Great views of the mountains and valleys. Lakes. Accessed via Lumby-Mabel Lake Road. Squaw Valley Road to Ireland Creek FSR to Silver Hills FSR to Sigalet Road. Sigalet Lake. About 52 km.

Salmon River Road, Deep Creek Road, Otter Lake Road

Salmon River Road to Salmon Arm, then south towards Vernon along mostly back roads including Deep Creek Road, Sleepy Hollow Road and Otter Lake Road and passing through Armstrong. Plenty of corners, usually light traffic, past small farms, country properties, Salmon Arm waterfront and Gardom Lake.
