Grandby Road, North Fork Road (Grand Forks)
A nice meandering and twisty backroad starting in Grand Forks BC and heading north along the Grandby River.
ViewAdams West FSR, Agate Bay Road, Adams Lake
From Hwy 1 and Squilax-Anglemont Road to Holding Road to Adams Lake, Adams West FSR and Agate Bay Road to Hwy 5. Total distance is about 70 km, 27 km of that is easy gravel. A pleasant ride with some nice views of Adams Lake. Ok for the majority of street bikes. Includes a short side trip to Adams Lake Provincial Park.

Via Barnhartvale Road, Hwy 1, Hwy 5A, Hwy 8, Hwy 97C, Meadow Creek Road (Hwy 97D) and Lac Le Jeune Road. A full day of riding. All paved.
ViewPaul Lake Road, Pinantan-Pritchard Road
Narrow backroad climbing from valley bottom near Kamloops (Hwy 5) to Paul Lake Provincial Park then to Pritchard (Hwy 1). The road turns to smooth gravel about 10 km east of Paul Lake.
ViewWestwold to Merritt via Douglas Lake Road, Hwy 5A
The route takes you through farmland, a narrow valley into a canyon, and then rises to a plateau with open range land and rolling hills and lakes. Starts off paved and then turns to good gravel and stretches of loose gravel, a paved section on top and then gravel again. The last 39 km is paved. An adventure bike would be a good choice for the entire route.

The section from New Denver to Kaslo is one of the best motorcycle roads in BC. The scenery is great, and there's a lot of history in the area - mining, a WW II Japanese Internment camp, etc.. The route continues from Kaslo to Balfour along Hwy 31. The route is all paved except side trip to Sandon, an old mining town.

From Heffley Creek (Hwy 5 north of Kamloops) to Sun Peaks Ski Resort via Heffley Louis Creek Road, Sun Peaks Road. Good pavement, moderately twisty, some nice sweepers down lower. Narrower, steeper and tighter turns closer to resort. About 37 km.
ViewHwy 24 - Little Fort (Hwy 5) to Hwy 97
Hwy 24 from Little Fort (Hwy 5) to a few km south of 100 Mile House (Hwy 97). Ascends from valley bottom to mountain plateau. Gentle curves, light traffic, provincial parks, fishing lakes and camping. About 97 km.
ViewNoble Canyon, Vernon Hill, Becker Lake Area
East of Vernon and north of Lavington. FSRs, dirt bike and ATV trails. A couple of small lakes with camping. A small pond with a nature trail. Views of the lakes and valley. Many km of roads and motorcycle and ATV trails of varying condition and level of difficulty.
