Enderby To Sicamous to Revelstoke

Enderby, Grindrod, Mara Lake, Sicamous via Hwy 97A, then Hwy 1 to Revelstoke. Some especially nice riding along Mara Lake and through Three Valley Gap. About 111 km. A note about Vernon to Enderby and area back roads.

Chase-Falkland Road, Skimikin Road, Skimikin Lake Road

Falkland (Hwy 97) to Turtle Valley and Tappen (Hwy 1 about 11 km west of Salmon Arm) via Chase-Falkland Road, Skimikin Road, Skimikin Lake Road and Tappen Valley Road. Total distance is about 68 km with about 25 km of that good gravel roads. An adventure bike is the best option, but the route is fine for most street-legal motorcycles. Lumby to Three Valley Gap to Enderby-Mabel Lake Road via Mabel Lake FSR, Three Valley Mabel FSR

Starts with pavement, but mostly dirt and gravel roads, ok for some street bikes, but dual sport or adv bikes best choice. Mabel Lake Prov Park, forests, creeks and lakes. Wap Lake, Cottonwood Beach, Frog Falls and Noisy Creek Rec Sites. Divided into two main legs. Total distance of the main route is about 165 km. Last ridden Oct 2023.

Shuswap Lake Area

Country roads often running along the lake shore and connected by short stretches of Hwy 1. A number of parks and public lake access points. A scenic, pleasant ride with some nice corners along the way for fun. Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road, White Lake Road, Eagle Bay Road, Blind Bay Road, Squilax Anglemont Road. Herald, Scotch Creek and Tsútswecw Provincial Parks.

Trinity Valley Road and Hidden Lake

Trinity Valley Road is a scenic back road ride passable on most motorcycles. The road connects Lumby-Mabel Lake Road with Enderby-Mabel Lake Road. The road surface is mostly hard packed gravel (oiled, hard-pan) and fairly smooth. The first and last few km are paved. Hidden Lake Road is rougher and is best ridden on a dual sport or adventure bike.

Westside Road

A narrow and twisty backroad along the west side of Okanagan Lake between Vernon and West Kelowna BC. It is both scenic and entertaining.

Commonage, Carrs Landing, Okanagan Centre, Winfield, Oyama - Pelmewash Parkway - Kalamalka Lake

Vernon to Winfield via the Commonage, Carrs Landing and Okanagan Centre then back to Vernon via the more relaxed and scenic route. Commonage Road, Carrs Landing Road and Okanagan Centre Road West, Hwy 97, Pelmewash Parkway, High Ridge Road and Kalamalka Lakeview Drive. Okanagan Lake, Wood Lake, Kalamalka Lake. Kaloya Regional Park, Kekuli Provincial Park.

Pinaus Lake Area

A dual sport ride from Westside Road along Six Mile Creek Road, McGregor Creek FSR, Equesis Creek FSR, Pinaus Lake FSR, Pinaus Lake Road, Will Lake FSR, Ingram Creek FSR / Ingram FSR to Hwy 97 at Westwold. Side trips to Little Pinaus Lake, Square Lake, Pinaus Lake. About 52 km.

Perry River Road / North Fork FSR

A very scenic, and fairly easy, dual sport or adventure bike ride off Hwy 1 about 28 km north of Sicamous. Snow-capped mountains, creeks and waterfalls.
